10. Roof Cappings, Finial & Cresting
Once the conservatory roof glazing is almost complete you only need to put on the final pieces to waterproof and decorate your new roof.
The roof is now complete apart from glazing in the roof sheets left out to allow access to the radius, and screwing on the rafter end caps. Gutter brackets click into position on the eaves beam, and the gutter simply snap fits into the brackets.
A foam bung seals the radius end where all the rafters meet at the apex of the roof. The top cap cladding is fitted onto the ridge, and the traditional cresting sections slide into a channel along the top. The roof is topped off with a handsome finial positioned above the radius end cap.
